Project Management
We have been working for over a decade to improve the quality of life in communities across Tajikistan. Through the successful implementation of projects in areas such as community mobilization, agro-ecology, and economic development, our initiatives have become a beacon of hope for many people living in poverty and marginalized communities.
Zarzamin’s strategies are based on the understanding that each community is unique and requires tailored approaches to fulfil its particular needs. Our staff works closely with local stakeholders and beneficiaries to ensure that every project is sustainable, effective, and culturally sensitive.
We believe that by empowering people within these communities through education programs or by providing access to essential resources such as clean water, healthcare services, and financial support, we can contribute to the long-term positive transformation of both individuals and communities.
"Livelihood Promotion in Tajik-Afghan Cross-border Areas" (LITACA) project, "Aid for Trade" (AfT)
The Aid for Trade (AfT) and LITACA projects are transformative initiatives aimed at promoting inclusive growth, enhancing private sector competitiveness, and improving living standards in Tajikistan. Both projects focus on building resilient economic structures, fostering employment, and encouraging sustainable development practices, with a strong emphasis on empowering vulnerable groups such as women, youth, returned labor migrants, and people with disabilities.
The Aid for Trade (AfT) project works on promoting inclusive growth in Tajikistan through promoting green value chains and increasing private sector competitiveness with strong emphasis on building more resilient economic structures through economic and export diversification and adapting to the impact of the Covid-19 and other external shocks.
The LITACA project is a four-year initiative funded by the Government of Japan through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and implemented in the Tajik-Afghan cross-border districts of the Khatlon Region in the Republic of Tajikistan, including Bokhtar, Kulob, Shahritus, Jayhun, Qubodiyon, Panj, Dusti, Farkhor, Hamadoni, and Shamsiddin Shohin. The project aims to improve living standards, promote stability and security in these districts, and localize the one-village-one-product (OVOP) movement to boost income generation and job creation.
